Yes that is the plan, leaving Nov 30 and hopefully staying after the race weekend for some more testing with my friend Guy Montminy that run a vintage 340 F/A and i should be running is 1979 440 IFS to. But Don't know like anybody else out there that the sled will be in fast shape, but will work at it.

Jerry well said, there is still some good hp to sqeeze out of 440, and there is a lot of them out there and many parts for many years. Why screw with something that work pretty good. Will be cheaper to run cause of many motors laying around.

I'm sorry not to be with everybody stock mind.:h
Come-on. It's top notch racing, meaning not exacly top dollars.
Woul be to much time in tech and don't forget that public identify with something they can't get, like in any type of racing. If you want to race in stock, no problem, BUT NOT in the Champ class.
Wake up, it means, be the best at every side of that class. > Engine tuning + Clutch + Looks of it + Been pro at it + Finding the sponsor and be part of the Class to watch. Factory don't get involve,To bad. They would'nt anyway cause of less snow, less interest from family and automaticly selling less sled.
Sorry, not everybody like what i'm saying.
Don't start tinking that i have money coming out of my pocket, Thrue i have a lot of equipement but no money in the bank. That's the way i live (wife not to happy with that :(), but she understand me. RACING is important in my life.

To that 31 car: My excuse Jerry, did'nt know how the rules had been done. Sorry my mistake, to big of a mouth, to fast. Anyway, it's still hard to understand that some peoples think it's to much work.
Come on it's simple. Use a small light battery like they sell at any camera shop (12volt), Hook the light with an on/off switch to it and then hook the battery to your engine 12 volt supply that normaly does the supply to the rear light, that will automaticly recharge it. Simple.
Beleive it or not, my system was suppose to be like that since a couple years, but i did'nt want anybody to walk by my sled and turn the light on whitout knowing about it and then kill the battery.
Can you beleive my stupid move, that almost kill me. i guess we always need to think futher ahead in life.

Can you beleive the rule that says: mandatory full time on tail light for 600.
I guess the 600 class is the most dangerous class according to what they think! Then all of the other class, according to who ever make or decide about the rules, are really safe class, we don't need full time light ? Come on guys, how can somebodys does'nt think it as to be mandatory in any class, period.
i guess in all of the other class, we do'nt need to see if somebody has a problem and stop somewhere ?
we do race to safe i suppose according to their decisions.
rules are made to be change when they are not safe enough.
we need to be seen, and see when somebody is stop, period.
Just a good comment, i guess.

it's a friend of mine and he said is 600 cda, but need to be pickup at my place or brought to a race site.
They're flexible fiberglass(but there's a limit), they are in 2 pieces and colors, Yellow hood and red windshield, weight is 8 to 9 pds.

Good thing that out there, everery body thinks they have their own setup :B for hp,torqe or whatever and that's whats make racing interesting, Cause then there's a lot of talk of who's as the most HP or TORQUE and why is he going so fast and winning. :h
